Arthrodesis was performed on the left elbow of a 4-year-old Pomeranian in which surgical reduction of elbow luxation had failed. Absence of the anconeal processes and hypoplasia of the coronoid processes as revealed by radiography of the right elbow led to strong suspicion of congenital elbow anomaly as an etiologic factor in left-elbow luxation.
