A Flow visualization study is performed in a rotating impeller of multi-blade blowers by using polystyrene pellets technique inwatertank. The following results are obtained. (1) Separation in formed near the front part of the blade and is suppressed near the rear part of the blade, for the region beyond 1.5π of circumferential position θ in the opera-tion range above 0.25 of the capacity coefficient ?? .
(2) Separetion is formed largely in all blades under ?? =0.1.
(3) Two spiral flows are observed in the scroll.
