The present paper describes an application of Continuous Wavelet Transform to image data. This method has recently been studied by many researchers because of its new possibility in data analysis, not only on frequency but also on spatial domain.
The effect of wavelet mother function on wavelet coefficient is examined using typical simple images. Visualized image data obtained by smoke wire method is also analyzed as a processing with numerical filter.
