Abstract
Electroluminescent cells are fabricated by means of the vacuum evaporation of ZnS and TbF3 powder on anode oxided Ta2O5 films. The optical and electrical propertise of these cells are investigated.
Some of these EL cells are found to exhibit fairly stable luminescence, not only under an a.c. voltage excitation as previously reported, but also under a d.c. voltage excitation. The EL characteristics under a.c. and d.c. excitation are reported.
