Surface processing texture of high-melting-temperature metals studied using near-infrared laser incorporated into transmission electron microscopes

Abstract

To investigate the laser processing surface texture at the atomic level, we developed a near-infrared laser emission equipment incorporated into a transmission electron microscope. We selected high-melting-temperature metals for processing and irradiated the laser at various conditions, e.g., the intensity, pulse width, and scanning speed, followed by the observation of the surface texture.
