“Monozukuri,” manufacturing, consists of hardware and software. Hardware is a thing that can be physically recognized, and invisible software makes hardware function. The study intents to define “Senseware” based on a hypothesis; in the process of hardware and software embodiment, “Senseware” designs sensitivity of tacit knowledge or understanding.
This paper analyzes and shows a relationship between outlines of engineering “Senseware” and building engineering brands. Engineering brands could be established through close communications with customers and building trusts between them.
