Abstract

This study reports a case study of the use of “assertive communication” in university education services. It is shown that “assertive communication” had the effect of increasing employee engagement by activating communication within the organization with external customers (university students).”Assertive communication” is a communication style that respects each other’s opinions and emphasizes a frank exchange of ideas. Previous studies have shown that such an attitude of respect for each other’s opinions is a motivating factor. And it’s also known to increase employee engagement.
