The purpose of this study is to investigate the benefits of internship for graduate students. The research items include career consciousness, self-direction, leadership, life skills, social skills and mental health, the changes of which before and after internship are discussed. A follow-up survey on 36 undergraduate students showed that, after the internship, there are remarkable changes in the career consciousness on economic stability, the self-direction and life skills on planning ahead and positive thinking, the social skills on problem-solving, trouble processing, communication, the mental health on “depression · uneasiness”. And it is found that there are no remarkable differences in all research items after the internship with different careers. Accordingly, from the result of this research, we know that it is meaningful for graduate students to have an internship job, and the differences of careers for internship have no impact on career consciousness, self-direction, leadership, life skills, social skills and mental health.
