Abstract

In the evacuation safety design based on fire risk concept, acceptable evacuation safety criteria by type of buildings have to be considered. Though acceptable evacuation safety criteria for type of building are calculated by past studies, they have not been clarified. In this paper, the authors are trying to develop criteria of design evacuation risk in typical building types for evacuation safety designs of buildings by using the statistical data.
