抄録

We showed in a previous paper (4th report) that equi-diametric repetitive circular disk cutting test was applicable for determining life of tungsten carbide tool, by flank wear when cutting cast iron. But it is difficult for the life test life test by cratering when cutting steel. Therefore, we suggest a new method that is called "square type repetitive circular disk cutting test". It is applicable for determining life of tungsten carbide tool.
