According to the progress of antiseismic engineering, requirement of highly precise experiments has recently increased. However, the electric-hydraulic seismic simulator has numerous control problems due to such factors as nonlinearity, and kinematic and dynamic interaction. These problems become particularly considerable in the case of seismic excitation tests where the seismic simulator is required to simulate the actual seismic acceleration wave. This paper deals with the application of digital iterative equalization by FFT.
