Previous studies of the torque compensation cam (TCC) system with spring cover only the inertia of the output and the spring force of TCC. Regardless of this limitation, the formula for establishing the shape of TCC is useful for most industrial applications with accuracy of approximation for the model. However, as the percentage of the contribution of the inertia of driven member of TCC to the input shaft torque is several percent, it is necessary to re-establish a better formula considering the inertia term of driven member in the original equation for more accurate design. The perturbation method is used to solve the equation. The nondimensional displacement, velocity and acceleration of TCC are obtained. Also the nature of symmetry is discussed. Diagrams of the displacement, velocity and acceleration of the TCC are obtained through the simulation.
