抄録

This paper deals with vibration control using a control moment gyro (CMG). A double gimbals CMG (DCMG) system which has two gimbals for a flywheel, is proposed to realize two axial vibration control with a CMG flywheel. First, the dynamical characteristics of DCMG is investigated and a criterion for DCMG systems design is derived. Based on the result, evaluating H norm of the system with DCMG, the system parameters are optimized for the effective passive vibration control. The effectiveness of the vibration control with DCMG is experimentally evaluated and the results show the capability of DCMG to damp vibration.
