Abstract

In this study,we developed and utilized an SNS-operated (Social Networking Service-operated) experience-based teaching aid called “SNS Chat!” and formulated and implemented four-hour themes for first-year junior high school students. As a result, after the implementation, descriptions such as thinking about the contents of the writing that could lead to the identification of individuals and willingness to use SNS were identified in the worksheets of 95.7% of the learners. Furthermore,in the worksheets of 91.4% of the learners,we also identified descriptions referring to considering the use of SNS while avoiding any danger to oneself, including paying attention to GPS functions based on information transmission that could lead to the identification of individuals (writing, inserting photographs). From these,we have confirmed a certain educational effect of the practice of incorporating the SNS-operated experience-based teaching aid “SNS Chat!” with respect to thinking of good ways of using SNS and the attitude formation tied to the willingness to implement it.
