1) In general, teeth were moved easily with small force in the beginning of that movement, and the more the movement approached to its maximum the larger force was required for the movement.
The human upper or lower intact incisors were scarcely moved when the load was increased from 1.5 kg to 2 kg.
2) The individual difference of the tooth mobility chiefly consists of the difference at the beginning of the movement, and little difference of the further movements can be observed among individual cases.
3) In the cases of A.P., the tooth-mobility inclines to increase rather parallel to the increase of load.
4) The tooth-mobility of acute paradontitis was about two times or more larger than that of before or after such acute inflammations.
The increase is chiefly due to the increase of initial tooth-mobility.
5) In those cases of 4), teeth are apt to be a little drown out of the sockets.
This phenomenon as well as the changes of periodontal membrane seems to act an important role to promote the increase of tooth-mobility.
