Artifical Pacemakers and the Treatment of Various Cardiac Arrhythmias : III. Selections of a Pulse Generators and a Lead, Methods of Implantation, and Associated Complications and Cares

Abstract

The way to proper selections of a pulse generator and a lead for an individual case was described. Also methods of implantation of both endocardial and myocardial pacemakers were mentioned. Finally, complications possibly encountered during and after pacemaker implantation and the proper, cares for them were described. In order to obtain maximum therapeutic effect using artificial .pacemakers, very close cares for patients and pacemakers are mandatory after implantation.
