The author, having had a short trip for butterfly collection at Ambon Island, Indonesia, in December, 1972 and August, 1974, reported on Pieridae collected there, with special reference to seasonal variation (Kato, 1976). In this paper, Papilionidae collected at Ambon Island are reported, in which reference is made to: 1) one of the endemic characters of P. aiphenor which possibly makes P. aiphenor distinguishable from true P. polytes as an independent species distributed in Philippine and Moluccas. 2) re-examination on three forms of P. fuscus fuscus Goeze described by Jordan (1908). 3) continuous color variation observed on wings of female G. macfarlanei cestius Fruhstorfer. 4) an aberrant form of G. sarpedon anthedon Felder.
