Abstract
The hesperiid butterflies collected on Ambon Is., Indonesia in 1972-1973, 1974 and 1980 were listed with some notes, especially on adult habits and seasonal variation. The species listed here are as follows: Allora doleschallii, Hasora taminatus, H. hurma, Tagiades japetus, T. nestus, Potanthus taxilus, Arrehenes manias, Cephrenes augiades and C. moseleyi.
