Two new species, Alucita pusilla and A. straminea, are described. The genitalia of three known Japanese species, A. japonica, A. spilodesma, and A. flavofascia, are briefly described and illustrated for the first time. The Japanese Alucita is divided into two groups: Group A-A. pusilla, A. japonica, and A. spilodesma; group B-A. straminea and A. flavofascia. A key to the Japanese species and a brief description of the genus are also given.
