抄録
Since 1965, JEOL Ltd. (hereafter, JEOL) has released more than 40 mass spectrometer models to the market. In most of these systems, ion optical systems that are based on the work of Dr. Hisashi Matsuda, formerly a professor at Osaka University, are employed. A synopsis of Dr. Matsuda’s work with JEOL on the development of mass spectrometry systems is presented in this report. The content of the actual research conducted by Dr. Matsuda has previously been reported in detail in his published works, so it is not repeated here.
