Abstract

For the procedure of the NA Roadster Restore Service, the customer makes an application through the website, and we pre-check the vehicle at the nearest dealership of the customer, and work on the vehicle at the workshop of Mazda E&T located in the Ujina Plant, Hiroshima. The entire process starts with the reception inspection, and we disassemble, paint and assemble the vehicle, conduct the completion inspection and finally obtain the TUV (TUV Rheinland) certification. We not only restore the vehicle, but also present the customer a photo book which consists of the inspection records before and after disassembly, some photos as well as the customer's memory with Roadster and information on the birth of Roadster. We have also studied the supply of some reproduction parts together with the restoration service, and so far reproduced 170 types of parts. By providing the restoration and parts supply services, we establish the environment where the customers can continue driving their Roadster that they love for a long period of time, and contribute to the automotive culture in which old vehicles are cherished and respected.
