Wastewater Treatment Technology Using a Rotating Membrane Module

Abstract

The rotating membrane module, which is membrane driving type modules and requires low power consumption, has been developed as a separator for high concentration activated sludge.
Biological treatment and coagulation process, combined with the separation process using this membrane module, has formed an efficient system. It was found that the rotating membrane module could be applied to not only wastewater treatment but also food processing and bioprocessing fields.
