Abstract
Five mature larvae of a flesh fly were recorded from the nasal cavity of a 28-year-old man with terminal seminoma. These larvae, approximately 15-16mm long, had been reared at room temperature. Subsequently, 3 male and 2 female flies emerged. The specimens were identified as Boettcherisca peregrina Robineau-Desvoidy from morphological characteristics. This is the first report on human nasal myiasis due to this species.
