Detailed redescriptions and illustrations of the adults including male genitalia, pupa and larva of Topomyia (Suaymyia) decorabilis Leicester, 1908 are presented based on specimens collected in Malaysia and Indonesia. The pupa and larva of the species are described for the first time. The larva of the species is predacious, having enlarged maxillae.
