Isolation of averufin dimethyl ether and 5, 6-dimethoxysterigmatocystin from Emericella foeniculicola

Abstract

Two pigments, averufin dimethyl ether and 5, 6-dimethoxysterigmatocystin, were newly isolated from moldy rice artificially inoculated with Emericella foeniculicola.
