The content of fluorogenic corticoids in plasma was estimated in asthma bronchiale by two different methods, of Oda and of Sweat.
By the former method the decrease of fluorogenic corticoids in plasma of patients was not significant, but it has been proved by the latter method that the so-called compound F-like substances were greatly decreased, especially in the attack. After the investigations of Oda and Takeda Sweat method is more reliable than the others in relating to the amount of compound F at least in the plasma of human beings. The content of the compound B-like substances in plasma was variable thereby.
