The first volume is a play of situation going on at the outdoor for the background of Nozaki Kannon's unveilig. The second was one of relation whose theme was a conflict among a family at a limited scene of inside of Kawachiya. The last was one of a secret chamber in essence, though the scene was both inside and outside of Teshimaya as sublation of the former tow. My purpose of this essay was to know why Yohei had to kill O-Kichi, considering main essays on this play since Shoyo Tsubouchi at the period of Meiji, It is important to see the relation between Nozaki Village, a producing center of rape seed, and Tenma where it was processed into rape seed oil and sold out all over the country. Nozaki Kannon was a symbol of Eros and O-Kichi had a respectable character as an essence of rape seed.
