Abstract
Twelve cases of dermatophytosis due to Microsporum gypseum in Kochi Prefecture were reported. The clinical forms were tinea corporis (7 cases), tinea capitis (1 case), kerion celsi (1 case), tinea manum (2 cases), and tinea cruris (1 case).
