Abstract
The excision of benign or malignant tumors from the nose is often accompanied by full-thickness defects. This report details the experiences of three patients over a 6-month period, who had undergone partial nasal reconstruction using a local flap, 1) nasolabial flap, 2) median forehead flap and 3) scalping forehead flap. The technical considerations necessary to achieve good results are emphasized. This procedure provides a solution to a major problem of partial full-thickness defects of the nose.
