In our clinic, 178 cases have been diagnosed as ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament. We investigated 58 of 123 cases conservatively treated or not treated.
As for the 58 cases, this report details the clinical progression, the development of the ossification, the type of ossification and, in addition, provides the frequency of ossified yellow ligament.
Follow-up was conducted from 1 year to 17 years 1 month (mean 3 years 4 months).
