Two hundred and seventy-six fresh fractures in 275 patients experienced for the past five years were statistically analysed.
Out of 275 patients, 189 were females, and the ages ranged from 8 months to 90 years with an average of 49 years.
One hundred and eighty-five cases were fractures of neck of the humerus, 75 great tuberosity and 16 fracture-dislocations
Concerning so-called “downward subluxation”, 17 cases were found in 99 cases, which were examined by a X-ray at standing position with a load of 4kg. to the arm.
