Abstract
The authors reported a female case aged 32 years with v. Recklinghausen's disease which showed destructive change of the cervical spine and a large tumorous hypertrophy of skin covered from the left shoulder to upper arm. The hypertrophy of skin was recently enlarged rapidly by hemorrhage and was suspected of malignant change in nature. While the biopsy revealed a typical neurofibromatosis without malignancy, an amptation of the arm is thought to be indicated because of disturbance of ADL.
