Recently, we had experiences of two cases of glomus tumor.
Case 1:24 years old. male.
This patient was first seen with complaints of severe tenderness and cold intolerance of the left thumb. On examination, reddish tumor was observed beneath the nail with central ridging of the affected nail. At operation, a small rounded tumor with 3mm×6mm in diameter was excised.
Histological examination showed glomus tumor (Angioma type)
Case 2:26 years old. male.
He was admitted to our clinic with complaints of severe pain and tenderness of his right ring finger. On roentgenogram, tiny erosions was noted in the dorsal surfaces of the distal phalanx. Surgical excision was performed. Microscopical and electromicroscopical examinations showed a glomus tunor (Degenerative type)
