During the year 1974 and 1981, thirteen shoulders of the anterior recurrent dislocation of the shoulder were treated by modified Bristow operation.
These cases consisted of two females and ten males. The age of the patients ranged from 18 to 30 and average age was 23 years.
Twelve cases got results. On the other hand, one case got a poor result, with pain and severe disturbance of range of motion.
