Intraosseous ganglion is a comparatively rare disease. We experienced two cases of intraosseous ganglion, and report with some consideration.
The first case was a 31-years-old female, and her chief complaint was left ankle joint pain. Radiograph showed a well defined cystic lesion in the medial malleolus of the left tibia. The second case was a 31-years-old male. His chief complaint was right wrist pain. Radiograph showed a cystic lesion in the right scaphoid bone.
Curettage and bone grafting were done in both cases. The cysts contained gelatinous fluid. Microscopically, walls of the cyst were thick and formed mainly by collagenous tissue, which is quite compatible with the wall of ganglion cyst in the soft tissues.
