In order to clarify the significance of the constructional abnormalities of the hip joint on the progress of secondary coxarthrosis, we examined X-ray pictures of 91 cases with some morphological abnormalities on their bilateral hips. Furthermore, side of the hip joint which induced pain earlier and stronger was investigated.
Following results were obtained:
1) The most correlative factors which induced pain earlier were abnormal acetabular roof angle and CE angle.
2) Disorder of hip congruity may influence the development of the secondary osteoarthritis of the hip.
