Rotator cuff tear is a very common and quite important disease, because functional disturbance is almost always due to the problem of rotator cuff. We reported the results of surgery which were performed on the patients with rotator cuff tear. Total number of patients who underwent the operation from June in 1985 to March in 1987 was 43.
Nineteen cases of more than six months follow-up after operation were evaluated in Wolfgang's criterie.
The purpose of this paper is to report the technique of repair of tears of the rotator cuff.
