The records of twenty-seven patients who were older than fifty-five years old were analysed with reference to subjective and objective findings, and A. D. L. after partial facetectomy. The mean follow-up period was 1.6 years.
The total evaluation after treatment was excellent in eighteen, good in eight, and fair in one case.
