Severe osteoarthritic varus deformity of the knee in a male patient aged 63 years was operated by a corrective osteotomy. The varus deformity of approximate 40 degrees was corrected with supracondylar closing osteotomy of the femur and high tibial opening osteotomy.
After 8 months, he was able to easily walk 2km without knee brace and satisfied with the result.
