We performed a study on the H-reflex in the upper extremities of cervical myelopathy patients. The H-reflex was recorded in 11 out of 15 cases of cervical myelopathy. The patients eliciting an H-reflex frequency depression curve (FD-curve) were classified into five categories. In the supine position, the FD-curve was recorded in a more advanced pattern. There seemedtobe no relationship between the FD-curve and the clinical symptoms. But we feel furtherresearch should be carried out on the H-reflex and subclinical myelopathy.
