ステロイド性大腿骨頭壊死患者の術前ACTHテストについて

We studied the preoperative ACTH-test in 27 patients with corticosteoroid-induced necrosis of the femoral head. 11 patients had SLE, 3 had ITP and the rest comprised other diseases. We compared the ACTH-test data with the results of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Suppression of adrenocortical function of patients with RA was stronger than corticosteroid-induced necrosis of the femoral head. We concluded that care needed to be taken with patients who had taken long-term corticosteroid hormones, such as RA and SLE patients, to check for suppression of adrenocortical function.
