脊椎手術後の創感染に関する検討

抄録

We treated 10 cases of deep wound infection after spinal surgery. They accounted for 1.15% of all our spinal surgeries. 9 cases were early infection and the rest were late infection. Spinal instrumentation was performed on 9 cases and removed in 4 cases, and all 9 cases were treated with the continuous irrigation system. 5 patients were infected with MRSA.
The risk factor of early infection was the skin necrosis of the wound. Of the 9 cases of early infection, secondary suture of the wound was performed in 7 cases.
The risk factor of late infection is thought due to the host's ability to resist infection, which indicates that prophylactic antibiotics should be considered for patients with lower resistance to infection.
