This research examined how introduction of a social score system via the mobile app Aya Score affected social capital and subjective well-being (SWB) in Aya Town, Miyazaki. The results of the OLS and Probit model showed that there is a statistically significant difference between those who use Aya Score and those who doesn’t use it both in social capital and SWB. Four types of matching methods were also used for causal analyses. Matching methods revealed that people who use Aya Score have higher social capital (Bonding and Bridging) and SWB.
