抄録

The author discusses the diagnosis of maxillary sinusitis based on the findings of the maxillary ostium.
Forty-eight patients were examined radiographically at certain intervals to observe the course of maxillary sinusitis.
The course of maxillary sinusitis appeared to be influenced by the pathology of the maxillary ostium.
The patients were divided into 3 groups with respect to Moljodol image in the maxillary ostium and in the sinuses.
Group 1 included patients with unstable maxillary sinusitis and Group 3 fixed chronic sinusitis.
Group 2 is the intermediate type between the two.
