First, survey of various types of high velocity loaders is presented. Next, whether breaking elongation ab of metal specimens is larger or smaller than its statical value, is discussed theore-tically basing upon elastic- or rigid-linearly work hardening material property. The theoretical relation of ab vs. V1 is saw teeth like. Last, it is shown that experimental relations of ab vs. Vr in the velocity range up to 200m/s (strain rate: 4×103/sec) for metals of ƒcc, bcc, & hcp crystal lattice systems are clearly correlated with their lattice systems.
