Abstract

This paper reports on how to deal with big class size in order to get to know individual students via one-line responses from students. One-line responses from students reflect their feelings and beliefs. By classifying and examining one-line responses, we can elucidate student culture as well as implications for strategies for learning English. This paper also suggests that one-line responses from student should be utilized to evaluate classes and develop efficient activities in classes.
