Abstract
Macroporous SnO2 (m-SnO2) thick film was fabricated by a modified sol-gel method employing polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres (150 ∼870 nm) as a template and SnCl2 as a tin source. The morphology of m-SnO2 thick films was largely dependent on the kind of solvents, concentration of SnCl2 in methanol, and the diameter of PMMA microspheres. H2 sensing property of the m-SnO2 thick films was also investigated in the templerature range of 250 ∼ 500°C.
