Serochemical Studies on ABO Blood Group Substances

According to our experimental results, the sero-chemical nature of the ABO blood group substances tends to be controlled specifically by globoside and phenol extract, especially by the former. Furthermore, globoside is a glycolipid, containing higher fatty acid, sphingosine, galactose, glucose, chondrosamine and glucosamine, and devoid of L-fucose and amino acids.
