Abstract
a) In the provocation test, tracheal muscle preparation from guinea pigs was more stable than intestinal preparation from the same and was more sensitive and more responsive to the antigen.
b) Considering the spasmolytic actions of antihistaminic agents, atropine, antiserotonic agents, epinephrine and papaverine on anaphylactic and drug-induced contractions of tracheal muscle preparation of guinea pigs, it seems that contraction induced with oosponol is similar to anaphylactic and barium chloride-induced contractions.
