Abstract
In this study, new machining method is proposed and developed in order to make high productive turning for high–temperature alloys, such as Inconel718. In the proposed method, a multi–tasking machine tool that is fused with a lathe and a five axis machining center is used, and then material is turned by main turning spindle and machined by special rotating tool that has a round shape insert on the end. This paper introduces the effect of differences of insert types, such as positive or negative, horned edge or shape edge.
